Dale Stockton is a 32-year veteran of law enforcement, having worked in all areas of police operations and investigations and retiring as a police captain from Carlsbad, California. He is the managing partner of Public Safety Insight, a consulting firm that advises public safety agencies and vendors. Dale is a graduate of the 201st FBI National Academy and holds a master’s degree in Criminology from the University of California, Irvine. He is a former commissioner for California POST, the agency responsible for all law enforcement training standards. Dale has presented best practice classes in the use of technology on behalf of both the IACP and the National Institute of Justice. He has served on advisory committees for both organizations, including the IACP Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Committee for more than five years. Dale is known for launching the award-winning national training program, Below 100, a common sense approach to officer safety and he currently serves as chairman of the Spirit of Blue Foundation.
