Wm. Blair Anderson is currently Chief of Police of the St Cloud Police Department and has been a licensed peace officer for 25 years. Current St. Cloud staffing is 116 sworn and 56 civilians & an operating budget of $20,000,000.
As Jail Commander in Dakota County, he developed and implemented mentoring, ex-offender re-entry, juvenile detention alternative initiatives, public safety, and crime prevention community outreach programs.
Chief Anderson earned a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Administration from St. Mary’s University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 232nd Session.
Chief Anderson is an 8 year United States Army veteran, including active duty service during Operation Desert Storm.
