Scott Fleming entered the FBI in 2003. During his time in the FBI he deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2004 as well as Afghanistan in 2009 to support the Counterterrorism mission. After spending 12 years in the FBI Philadelphia Office, he returned to FBI Headquarters as a member of the internal FBI Inspection Division. In the Inspection Division he lead numerous teams to evaluate the success of a variety of programs while identifying areas of noncompliance. In 2019, Scott Fleming joined the Criminal Investigative Division where he currently serves as the Director of the National Gang Intelligence Center, a multi-agency intelligence center which focuses on National Gang threats and support state and local law enforcement.
Prior to joining the FBI, Scott Fleming worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence for 4 years where he served as an Intelligence Analyst addressing Chemical and Biological Warfare threats to the US Navy.
