Sgt. Patrick Natividad has worked for the El Paso Police Department since 1992. He has been assigned to the Patrol Division, CRASH Unit, and Gang Unit as an Investigator. Sgt. Natividad served in the Tactical Unit as a member and supervisor. Sgt. Natividad was also a member of the Special Operations Group and was the Team Leader for the departments Dignitary Protection Team. Sgt. Natividad was assigned to the Gang unit and was charged with supervising all gang investigations until 2020. Sgt. Natividad is assigned as a Patrol Operations Supervisor.
Sgt. Natividad has been a board member of the Texas Gang Investigators' Assoc. since 2003, and is currently the 2nd Vice President. Sgt Natividad currently serves as the National Treasurer on the Executive Board of The National Alliance of Gang Investigators Associations.
Sgt Natividad is a Governors Appointee to the Texas Violent Gang Task Force and is currently the Chairman. Sgt. Natividad holds a Bachelor of Science-Liberal Arts degree from Regents College in Albany, New York. He has taught on street, prison and OMG’s, Gang Unit Leadership and Development. Sgt. Natividad has also testified in District Court as a Gang Expert.
