Investigator Esther Suarez has been with the New York State Police for 15 years. She was promoted to Investigator in October of 2019 and serves in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Prior to her assignment, she served as a school resource officer, an academy training officer, and a school and community outreach coordinator. Investigator Suarez is bilingual and during her time as a school and community outreach coordinator, she spent time preparing educational powerpoints for spanish communities.
Investigator Suarez believes in the power of respect and creating positive interactions in her community. She is very committed in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and has completed a half ironman and has furture goals to complete a full. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the State University of New Yrok in Albany, New York, before entering the State Police Academy in 2007.
