For more than twenty years, Tara Richardson has served in leadership roles in counterterrorism, intelligence, homeland security, policing, and public safety technology programs, including having managed the operations of the Intelligence Commanders Group and their development of the Threat Review Program (TRP) and National Threat Picture. The ICG was a joint group of the Major Cities Chiefs Association and the Major County Sheriffs of America. She supported the White House and DHS efforts to prevent terrorism and targeted violence. She also managed many policing programs addressing violent crime and policing priorities. Mrs. Richardson supports the FirstNet Authority, the nation’s dedicated public safety broadband system. She also supports mass violence research projects and the Leadership in Counter Terrorism (LinCT) Alumni Association in its activities in the Five Eyes. Mrs. Richardson was on the forefront of the development of fusion centers in an expansion program that would serve as the basis for the network of fusion centers and Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) programs. She holds a B.S. from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
