Rick Fuentes is the former colonel and superintendent of the New Jersey State Police and also served as the state director of New Jersey Office of Emergency Management. While superintendent, Mr. Fuentes served in executive positions with the IACP and was a charter member of two main law enforcement advisory bodies to the United States Attorney General and Director of National Intelligence. Mr. Fuentes is currently the deputy director of the Center on Policing at Rutgers University and also serves as the chair of the IACP Homeland Security Committee.
