Christopher Mannino is a retired Chicago-area police chief with 25 years of law enforcement experience. This FBI National Academy graduate has a Master’s Degree in Political and Justice Studies, having focused both his higher education and FBI National Academy training on communications studies. From 2010 to early 2022, he guided his agency's public messaging through multiple critical incidents and high profile media events, as well obtained numerous positive news stories for his department in the country’s 3rd largest media market. In 2016 he began instructing on communications topics for the Chicago region’s largest law enforcement training provider. Now based in central Florida, he serves as Senior Director of Julie Parker Communications, instructing and consulting on crisis communications, positive public relations, social media strategy and media relations for clients across the country, with clients including law enforcement agencies, municipal governments, federal agencies, non-profits organizations and private businesses.
