Bio Carlos R. Godina
Carlos is a Clarkdale Police Officer, having served in law enforcement for going on 15 years. Eleven of those years he has served with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, including a couple of small stints with Jerome and Cottonwood PD. He is currently with the state gang task force working as a Detective under the Dept. of Public Safety. He is a Firearms Instructor, Rifle Instructor, Field Training Officer, and he tries to participate in all the DUI task force. Carlos has close to 150 DUI arrests in his career. In 2020, Carlos received Congressional Recognition from the House of Representatives (Congressman Gosar R-AZ) for actions above and beyond the call of duty and he received the Clarkdale Police Department’s Medal of Valor. Carlos was born and raised in East Los Angeles, CA and is the oldest of eleven siblings. He graduated from Rosemead High School, and has some college from Southwestern Junior College in San Diego, CA. He is married and has four children, and is a US ARMY combat veteran for his tour of duty in the Middle East just after Sept. 11, 2001.
