Dr. Matthew M. Lunn is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Denver Police Department. His focus is on developing short- and long-term strategic goals, driving innovation and evaluation efforts, and maximizing organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Dr. Lunn received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and is a graduate of the Senior Executives in State and Local Government from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police. He holds faculty appointments at the University of Colorado and The State University of New York, Binghamton. Dr. Lunn's areas of research include the use of force, policy and program evaluation, and crisis leadership.
