Dave Ward is award winning broadcast journalist. Dave has been working with the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association and IACP to help bring together law enforcement and the media to better serve the communities both serve every day. Dave has worked for CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox affiliates across New England and covered some of the region's most high profile stories. From the 9/11 attacks to Sandy Hook, Dave has covered some of the biggest stories across the northeast, receiving recognition with the National Eward R. Murrow Award for Breaking News. For over twenty years, Dave has put a special focus on telling law enforcement stories to help better educate the public on public safety needs and challenges. Through the relationship with CPCA, Dave is also a certified media trainer for the Connecticut Police Officers Standards and Training Council.
