Yvonne Cooke has a passion for individual, organisational and societal reform, having worked internationally as an Occupational Psychologist across the public, private and not for profit sector. She joined An Garda Síochána in 2021 as Director of Human Resources & People Development, bringing a wealth of operational and organisational policing and law enforcment experience, spanning over two decades. She was the 2018 Northern Ireland Eisenhower Fellow, is a Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) Fellow, Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, has an MSc in Occupational Psychology and BSc in Psychology through Queens University Belfast and graduated the UK College of Policing Strategic Command Course with distinction. She has a track record of leading on and advising leaders on complex cultural change.
