Dan McClure is a Sergeant with the St. Cloud Police Department and has 15 years of law enforcement experience. Sergeant McClure received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master's degree in Public Safety Executive Leadership from St. Cloud State University. Sergeant McClure has spent most of his 15 years with the St. Cloud Police Department in several specialty units to include, the Community Crime Impact Team, Campus Area Police Services, School Resource Officer and Community OutPost Team. Sergeant McClure introduced the idea of starting a Community OutPost (C.O.P. House) program in the City of St. Cloud, Minnesota, to reduce violent crime in the neighborhood, strengthen community partnerships and relationships, and provided much needed health and wellness services to a diverse and transient population. Sergeant McClure is currently assigned to the Patrol Unit and is the Team Leader for the department's Crisis Negotiations Team.
