Max Bosel is a retired police chief whose "encore" purpose is dedicated to providing financial wellness education. He founded "Code 4 Finances" wtih the vision of making essential money management skills relatable to those serving on and supporting the frontlines. His lifelong exposure to personal finances began with lessons from his entrepreneurial immigrant parents and continued with mentoring from professionals in the financial services industry. He holds a BA in Management, an MPA, a Graduate Certificate in Financial Life Planning from Golden Gate University, a Professional Certificate in Personal Finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and has completed personal finance coursework from Stanford Continuing Studies, and the Association of Financial Counseling and Planning Education, among others. Max's public safety career spanned four decades with 31 years in municipal policing in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a graduate of the 255th Session of the FBI National Academy and is a lifetime member of the Police Executive Research Forum.
