Armando Sanders began his law enforcement career in 2003 with the Montgomery Police Department. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2010 and promoted to his current position as Deputy Chief in 2012.
He is also an adjunct professor for the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command both in person and on-line. He teaches around the country on topics such as Leadership, Problem Employee, Grant Writing, Community Relations, and Police and Politics.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management (Spanish minor) from North Central College in Naperville, IL. He obtained his Master's Degree in Business Administration (with a concentration in Leadership) from Aurora University in 2016.
In 2014, he completed the NUCPS School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC #354) where he served as class president and the Executive Management Program.
In March of 2018, he attended and graduated from the FBI National Academy Program (Session #271) at Quantico, Virginia.
He is a member of multiple Chiefs of Police Associations and is currently the President for the Kane County Chiefs of Police Association (2022).
He enjoys and cherishes spending time with his family and practicing judo.
