Pete Havel is an author,speaker, trainer and consultant on workplace culture and leadership issues for organizations ranging from leading law enforcement agencies to Fortune 500 companies. Havel is the President of his company "Fireproofed Leadership" and is the author of "The Arsonist in the Office: Fireproofing Your Life Against Toxic Coworkers, Bosses, Employees, and Cultures", which features his personal understanding of toxic environments, inheriting challenging workplace environments, and the risks of leadership avoiding the problem of bad behavior inside an organization. A former lobbyist and political consultant for major business trade associations, Havel now travels the U.S. working with numerous law enforcement agencies, fire service departments, and nonprofits on fixing, rebuilding, or further enhancing workplace cultures. Pete is a graduate of Baylor University and lives in Dallas, TX. with his wife Janie and daughter Reagan.
