Dr. Galmarini is Board Certified in Police & Public Safety Psychology. She received her Doctorate in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (2015). Dr. Galmarini first gained experience in the field of police psychology in 2013, completing a clinical externship at Miami-Dade Police Department’s Psychological Services. She joined Law Enforcement Psychological and Counseling Associates, Inc (LEPCA) in August of 2015. Dr. Galmarini conducts pre-employment psychological screenings, psychological fitness for duty evaluations, and critical incident stress debriefings with police and public safety personnel of over sixty local and state agencies. Additionally, she currently provides therapy services to police and public safety personnel, support staff, and their families through the employee assistance programs of various law enforcement agencies in South Florida. Dr. Galmarini currently serves as the Chair of International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)- Police Psychological Services Section's Diversity Committee.
