On January 15, 2021, a lone terrorist from the UK entered the Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue in Colleyville, Texas; took the rabbi and three congregants hostage; and threatened that thousands of Jews would die if a federal prisoner known as “Lady al-Qaeda” was not released. The 11-hour incident included assistance from over 250 law enforcement personnel from 13 different federal, state, and local agencies. Chief Miller and FBI Special agent in Charge DeSarno will provide a briefing on the incident and subsequent investigation that includes audio and video from the synagogue.
