Threats of domestic terrorism has evolved since 9/11 and especially, after events at the U.S. Capitol. As these domestic threats evolve, law enforcement must adapt and confront these challenges, relying on the knowledge and strengths of the officers in their communities. The SLATT Program offers many law enforcement officers their first opportunity for terrorism and targeted violence training, enabling them to understand the complex issues surrounding terrorism and targeted violence and their critical role in prevention strategies and building community trust. SLATT equips law enforcement personnel at all levels, analysts, and other stakeholders with the situational awareness they need to meet local terrorism threats with real-time, actionable results to ensure public safety in their communities.
