Aboveground Petroleum Storage Tanks:  Design and Construction

Aboveground liquid petroleum storage tanks and their related operations are a common target hazard for many communities. This workshop will focus upon the design, construction and operating practices commonly found at aboveground liquid storage facilities, with an emphasis upon distribution terminals and liquid pipelines. Emphasis will be placed upon the impact of both fixed and semi-fixed fire and safety features on the behavior of the tanks and their respective contents.
