Chemical Hazards determination using the wet chemistry Hazard Classification Procedure

Participants will determine the chemical hazards of 24 commonly used hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals using colorimetric techniques. Hazmat Responders will learn a rapid and easy method to determine if unknown or suspicious materials present at a site present possible chemical or biological hazard to the responder, population or surrounding environment. This is a hands on training were the participants will handle and test actual hazardous materials.

Pre-registration is required. Transportation is provided to and from the destination. Meet in the hotel lobby near registration to check in for the bus no later than 7:45 AM.
