This program reviews maydays and how to prevent them from occurring. We will examine the different types of maydays and the events that lead up to them. Then review different techniques to prevent Maydays. In some cases its the simple stuff that gets over looked and gets us in trouble. While others are often communication issues, not just the radio, but what is said.
Learning Objectives:
Provide haz mat personnel with information on haz mat MAYDAYS and how to prevent them from occurring.
Participates will be presented information on communications issues that occur and how to handle them.
Participates will be provide with various techniques in preventing maydays through actions checklists.
