My education is in urban design, green building, civil engineering, and construction project management and I have training in dance, permaculture design, nature awareness, cultural mentoring, massage, and wilderness and herbal medicine. I have helped build greener homes with a residential contractor, mentored home schooled teenagers in local parks, launched a place-based performing arts nonprofit, and built cross-sector partnerships while designing/ building/ tending landscapes.

I'm blessed doing my current work: connecting with place; facilitating the articulation of collective vision; and collaborating with indigenous, local community, government, and industry leaders to respectfully manage resources and shape engaging public parks.

I work in the Capital & Planning Division of the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department, and serve as our department's representative to the Municipal Green Building Task Force.
