Chris Kolb is a Vice President at Cosentini and an expert in energy-efficient and Passive House-compliant design. Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Kolb has led the design and management of numerous commercial buildings, academic facilities, hotels, mixed-use complexes, and affordable and luxury multi-family residential buildings. Mr. Kolb works collaboratively with building owners and architects to develop energy-efficient design strategies, assisting projects in exceeding energy code requirements, reducing operating costs, and achieving sustainability certifications. He has recently managed the design of 220 Central Park South in New York, NY, Baccarat Hotel in New York, NY, and Greenpoint Landing Block D in Brooklyn, NY. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He is a Licensed Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional.
