Alemany Farm
Vivian Santana Pacheco is an urban farmer dedicated to reclaiming ancestral knowledge of stewarding the land and growing food and helping others do the same. She currently assists in managing Alemany Farm, a 3.5 acre no-till farm in San Francisco that increases food access, but also connection to growing their own food. Vivian is also a resident and homeowner on the EcoBlock project site in Oakland, CA. She is a very active participant in the community engagement at the EcoBlock. She also earned her master’s in public policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy in 2011.
