Shawn Oram, P.E., LEED AP | Director of Design Engineering, Principal: Shawn is the current Director of Design and Engineering at Ecotope. Since 2002, he has provided HVAC and plumbing design engineering, energy optimization for scores of high performance commercial and multifamily buildings. Shawn is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in Washington and California and has been focused on delivery of high-performance, low energy, low water-use projects for the last 18 years. Shawn and his team have designed over 80 central heat pump water heating systems in apartment and commercial buildings and continue to drive for market transformation from central gas to high performance heat pumps for central hot water systems. Shawn and his team have won eight national awards for innovative design approaches and low energy use building outcomes.
