As Associate Vice-President (Facilities Development) at the University of Calgary, Boris provides leadership, vision and technical expertise to the Facilities Development portfolio of over 50 professional architects, engineers, technologists, interior designers, real estate professionals and project managers. The team is directly responsible for the planning, design, construction and leasing activities to deliver on the university’s capital plan. Since joining the university six years ago, the team has completed over $650 million in capital projects and currently has over $600 million in various stages of design and construction.
Boris holds an Architectural Engineering Technology Diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Bachelors and Masters of Architectural from Montana State University, a Graduate Diploma in Management and a Masters of Business Administration with a Project Management major from Athabasca University.
