Lily realizes that the success of a project at any scale hinges upon building trust with a client. As an interior designer at WRNS Studio, she’s maintained and developed some of the firm’s most notable client relationships through her work on workplace interiors including with Airbnb, Google, and Niantic. With a focus on human experience, Lily balances needs for functional, focused workspaces with expectations for social and inspirational environments that represents an organization’s brand. Lily participated in Metropolis Magazine’s Low-Carbon Interiors Hackathon in 2021 & was featured in the December 2010 issue in "Why Interior Designers Must Fight Climate Change." She spoke on workplace trends at the AIA California Council in 2014. Lily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
She connects with the broader design community through Bay Area Young Architects (BAYA), first as a devoted attendee and volunteer at events such as the 2013/2015 Living Home Tours Docent, 2014 Design Awards Social Media Advocate, Panelist at BAYA’s 2015 Whats Next, Host and Presenter for 2014 BAYA Presents, 2015 Make the Connection. In 2016, Lily became the chair of BAYA, helping to increase BAYA membership, sell out events, and establish connections with the broader community via networking events with other professional organizations such as NoMA, LiA, Habitat for Humanity, SEANOC, YLG, Young Engineers of ASHRAE & ASCE.
