Architect Lara Kaufman is a Design Director in the Studio’s New York office and a sustainability specialist. With a broad base of design, technical, and management experience, Lara stewards complex cultural and institutional projects from conceptualization to completion. Working alongside the Studio’s varied project collaborators and environmental engineers, she seeks to enhance cities and improve everyday life for people through climate-forward design. Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Master of Architecture from UC Berkeley. She is a licensed architect in California and LEED AP.
