Scott Farbman, a licensed architect (AIA) and certified passive house consultant (CPHC), is DataBased+'s Innovation Lead, a studio within dbHMS. He supports dbHMS and DataBased+ to deliver research based, data driven, human centered design. A member of Chicago Mayor Lightfoot's Building Decarbonization Working Group and AIA Chicago's 2030 Knowledge Committee chair, Scott utilizes early phase energy and environmental analyses to assist teams in making data-driven design decisions for building systems. Most recently, his research has focused on greenhouse gas emissions analysis and Passive House.
