Amie weaves together the practice of mandatory green building standards implementation with systems thinking, behavioral science, and data analysis. She believes green building code is crucial to any successful climate action plan, from the local to the global scale. Amie is founder and owner of Green Building Review LLC, a green building code compliance inspection agency; and is founder and owner of Greenmetry, an online platform for processing green building code compliance forms, connecting permit applicants with building departments across California. Greenmetry powers builders to achieve green building compliance with ease and cities to implement green building codes effectively.
Amie holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from San Francisco State and a BA in Environmental Studies from Barnard College of Columbia University. She is LEED AP since 2006 with specialization in BD+C, is a qualified LEED Commissioning Agent, and has specialized in third-party, independent CalGreen review and inspection since 2016.
