Raghav has 8 years of experience embedding data science and artificial intelligence to the biomedical space as a scientist, engineer, product manager, team builder, academician and entrepreneur. He was also closely involved in building and managing of a pre-Series A funded biomedical data science startup.
At Yale, under Dr. Morgan Levine's guidance, Raghav’s research focuses on understanding Human Aging. Through his research Raghav is trying to answer critical questions such as “What are the biological systems and processes driving human aging?”, “Are there different dimensions of aging and are they quantifiable?” and “Can we group individuals into aging subtypes and predict their aging trajectories as well as the inform about future risk of specific diseases?”. To answer these questions, Raghav is building machine learning tools and techniques using multi-omic (Epigenetics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics et al) and multi-modal data (Whole body and Organular Biomarkers, Tissue Omics and Single-Cell Omics).
