Danielle McDuffie, M.A. (she/her/hers) is a 5th year Ph.D. Candidate specializing in Clinical Geropsychology at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. She is currently completing her predoctoral internship at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. Danielle's research interests include minority aging (specifically Black/African American older adults), grief, bereavement, religion, spirituality, Positive Psychology, and racial trauma. Her dissertation was a lifespan study of bereavement trends in Black adults (ranging from young to older adulthood). When she is not working, Danielle enjoys spending time with her loved ones (including virtually), reading, and the show Spongebob Squarepants.
