Allison Gibson, PhD is an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky's College of Social Work. Dr. Gibson’s academic training as a clinical social worker has prepared her to work with aging individuals and their families from a biopsychosocial perspective. She is affiliate faculty with Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. Her research focuses on testing biopsychosocial interventions for persons living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias (ADRD), as well as with their family caregivers.
