Mary Louise Pomeroy, PhD, MPH, is a health services researcher at Johns Hopkins University. She received her MPH from Johns Hopkins University and her PhD in health services research from George Mason University. In 2022, she was awarded an NIH-funded T32 institutional training grant from the Johns Hopkins Roger C. Lipitz Center for Integrated Health Care, where she currently works as a post-doctoral research fellow. Her research centers on health systems and policy issues for aging populations, subsidized housing residents, and individuals living with disabilities. Currently, her research focuses on social isolation as a risk factor for early nursing home entry among older adults. Dr. Pomeroy continues her professional development as an active member of several professional organizations including AcademyHealth and the Gerontological Society of America.
