Dr. Samus is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and directs the Memory and Aging Services Innovation Center at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). She has nearly two decades of experience developing and disseminating evidence-based interventions and care models to improve the lives of persons with memory disorders and their families, especially for vulnerable and underserved groups. In addition to research she has a long track record of interdisciplinary collaboration and contributions to policy development and strategic planning for dementia care at the state, national, and international level.
