Soo-Jeong Lee is an associate professor in the Department of Community Health Systems of the School of Nursing at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). She received her BS and MS in nursing from Seoul National University, South Korea, and a PhD in nursing from UCSF. She completed her post-doctoral training in public health and applied epidemiology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Program. Her research interest focuses on occupational determinants of health and the prevention of work-related injury and illness among worker populations, primarily healthcare workers. She has conducted research on organizational factors, physical and psychosocial work risk factors, risk perception, safe work behaviors, and the effectiveness of preventive measures at the individual, organizational, and regulatory levels.
