Dr. Sarah Ross is an Associate Professor at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth. She completed medical school at UNTHSC and residency and fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital. She is board certified in Family Medicine with additional certification in Geriatrics and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She cares for older adult patients in the office, house calls, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities. She serves as a medical director for the James L. West Dementia Care Center and as clinical medical director for the Center for Older Adults outpatient office at HSC Health. As course director for the geriatrics rotation and an online geriatrics elective, she is dedicated to educating trainees in geriatrics. She is a project lead for UNTHSC’s Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program and the medical director of Project ECHO programing, offering training in geriatrics and long-term care topics.
