Hafifa Siddiq, PhD, MSN, RN is an Assistant Professor at Charles R. Drew University and Assistant Project Scientist at the UCLA Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research. Dr. Siddiq's research aims to understand how social determinants such as discrimination, the context of migration, and post-migration stressors contribute to health and mental health disparities among ethnic minorities and immigrants, particularly older adults from Afghanistan and the Middle East. Her work informs the development, evaluation, and implementation of culturally sensitive interventions to improve mental health outcomes for older adults.
