Noriko Tsukada, Ph.D., is a full professor at the Nihon University College of Commerce in Tokyo, Japan. She received a B.A. and M.A. in Education from Fukuoka University of Education in Japan. She also earned MGS (Master of Gerontological Studies) from Miami University in Ohio in 1993 under a supervision of Dr. Robert Atchley and a Ph.D. from UCLA in California in the US in 1997 under a supervision of Dr. James E. Lubben. Upon her graduation from Miami University, she joined “Sigma Phi Omega” (National Gerontology Honorary). From 2004 to 2008, she assumed the position of the Director of the Japan Office for the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA). Since 2017, she is taking a part of Examination Committee of Social Insurance as a Counselor. She became GSA Fellow on May 10, 2016 (Social Research, Policy, and Practice Section).
