Catherine Clair, MHS, is currently a PhD student in the Department of Health, Behavior & Society at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH). After graduating from BSPH in 2017 with a Master of Health Science in Mental Health, she worked as an analyst at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in their Performance Measurement and Research & Analysis departments. After seeing the challenges experienced by older adults and their caregivers in navigating the health care system during her time at NCQA, she returned to Johns Hopkins University to pursue further education in promoting person-centered care and research for these populations. Her research centers on the integration of informal and formal care networks for older adults and its association with health outcomes. Catherine also serves as a Study Coordinator for two research projects in the School of Nursing at Johns Hopkins University.
