Dr. Soomi Lee is an assistant professor in the School of Aging Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at the University of South Florida. She received a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a life-span developmental researcher who focuses on identifying modifiable lifestyle factors in middle adulthood that significantly influence the trajectory of aging. Specifically, her program of research focuses on sleep, stress, and behavioral mechanisms that underlie healthy aging. The ultimate goal of her research is to contribute towards the development of effective behavioral intervention strategies for promoting healthy aging.
