Dr. Kelly Rentscher is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a clinical psychologist with expertise in psychoneuroimmunology and relationship science. Her research examines the biological mechanisms that link experiences of stress and adversity to increased risk for accelerated aging and age-related disease, with a focus on midlife adults and cancer survivors. Importantly, her work also aims to identify close relationship processes that may protect against the negative effects of stress on these outcomes and serve as novel targets for intervention.
