Stephanie P. Wladkowski, PhD, LMSW, APHSW-C is the Benz Endowed Professor and Associate Professor of Social Work at Bowling Green State University. Her main research interest has focused on live discharge from hospice, or when individuals stop receiving hospice care due to no longer meeting the eligibility requirements. Dr. Wladkowski has several years of clinical practice as a social worker in hospice and palliative care, which directly informs her NIH-funded research and her teaching in health, aging, interprofessional education, and end-of-life care. Dr. Wladkowski is a recent board member of the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network and is a 2020 recipient of the Cambia Health Foundation Sojourns Scholar Leadership Program.
