Elena Remillard is a research scientist at the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. Elena has 9 years of experience as a researcher in the areas of: design and technology for aging-in-place, technology acceptance among older adults, and aging with disability. She serves as both the project coordinator and an investigator for the TechSAge Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center – funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). TechSAge is an interdisciplinary center that conducts research, development, and training projects that are dedicated to understanding the needs of, and developing supportive technologies for, people aging with long-term disabilities.
