Teresa A. Keenan, Ph.D. is Director, Health and Health Security Research at AARP. She manages a team of research professionals who work on a broad range of complex, highly visible research projects, providing stakeholders with data, research materials, and actionable insights related to the attitudes, values, and behaviors of midlife and older adults. In a previous position, Teresa served as the lead researcher for the Association’s consumer-facing efforts in several areas including health care, prescription drug affordability, and health promotion and disease prevention. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Cornell University.
