Gabrielle Pfund recently finished her PhD at WashU and is now a postdoctoral research fellow at Northwestern University in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at the Feinberg School of Medicine. While there, she will be working alongside Dan Mroczek to investigate the connection between personality traits and cognitive functioning. Furthermore, she will be working with Emily Willroth--a new assistant professor at WashU--to understanding how well-being and cognitive decline change together in older adults. During her time at WashU, her research examined macro- and micro-level changes in sense of purpose across the lifespan and how these changes connected to social relationships.
