Dr. Kristen M. George is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Public Health Sciences at UC Davis School of Medicine. Her research assesses cardiovascular contributions to dementia and cognitive aging, and she is particularly interested in in how social determinants of health interact with cardiovascular risk factors over the life course contributing to the excess burden of cognitive impairment and dementia among marginalized populations. She received her PhD and MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota and her BA in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
