Leading aging and health policy advocates will present their findings and viewpoints regarding pandemic and post-pandemic policy and programmatic changes and innovations. Issues will include elder justice, home and community-based services, Medicaid, nursing home care, and social isolation. The group will discuss what has changed and how will programs and services be different in the future.

Learning Objectives:

Identify policy and program changes necessitated by the pandemic in various issue areas.
Discuss various aging and health care programs that underwent changes and innovations and whether these programs will return to "normal" or move forward with different approaches.
Describe how older adults were effected by the pandemic and the programmatic changes needed to better address their needs and empowerment.
