Dr. Muhammad Afzal obtained his medical degree from King Edward medical University in Pakistan. He did internal medicine training at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. He did cardiology fellowship at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and Electrophysiology fellowship at the Ohio State University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Electrophysiology. His research interests include implantable loop recorders, leadless pacemakers, left atrial appendage closure devices and ventricular arrythmia management.
